In the vehicle within the scope of this recall, the brake vacuum booster tube is not properly routed according to the operating instructions during the assembly process, which may result in the brake vacuum booster and front attachment drive system (FEAD). The pulley is in contact, causing the brake vacuum booster to wear out and may cause the vacuum assist system to malfunction. This situation will result in a hard brake pedal and an increased braking distance of the vehicle, which may cause the vehicle to collide. Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will provide free repairs and replacement of worn hoses for vehicles within the recall to eliminate potential safety hazards.
