Second, the volume of steam flow measurement characteristics
1. Large vibration: not every air flow meter is installed in a place with high vibration, but the air flow meter installed in the compression plant and the blower room must consider the vibration problem. This vibration mainly comes from the compressor and the blower, the vibration of the machine. It can be transported far away through air ducts or ducts. Among them, the vibration is a reciprocating compressor. The vibration generated by the large reciprocating compressor during operation often drives the plant to vibrate together with the surrounding ground, posing a threat to the accurate and reliable operation of the associated air flow meter. It triggers the pivotal movement of the lever differential pressure transmitter to cause the instrument to exhibit an indication drift. The vibration causes the vortex flow sensor to generate an interference signal corresponding to the vibration frequency, causing the flow indication to be significantly higher.
2, gas with water: steam is taken from the atmosphere, and the atmosphere always contains a certain amount of water vapor. The content of water vapor is expressed by a partial pressure of water ps. The saturated partial pressure of water vapor in the atmosphere is a function of atmospheric temperature (see Table 3.4). In rainy and foggy days, the partial pressure of water vapor in the outdoor atmosphere reaches saturation level, that is, the relative humidity is reached. At this time, compressing the atmosphere is like compressing a sponge that absorbs enough water. As the volume shrinks, a corresponding amount of water is precipitated. . This is a simple principle of steaming with water. In fine weather, the relative humidity of the atmosphere is low, but as it is compressed and the volume is reduced to a fraction of the original, the partial pressure of water vapor will increase accordingly, and it may also enter a saturated state to precipitate water droplets.
Third, the steam flow meter selection
Faced with such a wide variety of steam flow meters, the selection of the general user has become a problem. How to scientifically and objectively select a good flow meter is a problem that needs attention. We believe that the selection should follow the appropriate rules, try to avoid the misleading propaganda of the manufacturer, find a just right flow meter for yourself, it is your ideal flow meter.
The selection can be made in five aspects: instrument performance, fluid properties, installation conditions, environmental conditions, and economic factors. The various considerations are as follows:
1. Instrument performance: accuracy, repeatability, linearity, range, pressure loss, upper and lower limit flow, signal output characteristics, response time, etc.
2. Fluid properties: fluid pressure, temperature, density, viscosity, lubricity, chemical properties, wear, corrosion, scale, dirt, gas compression coefficient, isentropic index, specific heat capacity, electrical conductivity, sound velocity, mixed phase flow, pulsation Flow, etc.
3. Installation conditions: pipe layout direction, flow direction, upstream and downstream pipe length, pipe diameter, maintenance space, pipe vibration, grounding, power supply, auxiliary equipment (filtration, sewage), explosion-proof, etc.
4. Environmental conditions: ambient temperature, humidity, safety, electromagnetic interference, etc.;
5. Economic factors: purchase cost, installation fee, maintenance fee, calibration fee, service life, operation cost (energy consumption), spare parts and so on.
